Grateful

Complaining--verbally or even just in my spirit--evidences a lack of proper perspective. Gratefulness pulls our souls from the dust of self into the presence of God. We are to enter His gates with thanksgiving.

He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him. In Him we have exceedingly great and precious promises, we are partakers of the divine nature, and we have escaped the corruption in the world.  (2 Peter 1:3-4)

We have a living hope, an incorruptible inheritance, and are kept by the power of God through faith. (1 Peter 1:3-5)

We are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, chosen before the foundation of the world to be holy, accepted in the Beloved, redeemed, and have the knowledge of His will. (Ephesians 1)

We have the confidence He will complete the good work He began in us (Philippians 1:6).

We are qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints, delivered from the power of darkness, redeemed through His blood, and complete in Him (Colossians 1-2).


Therefore we do not lose heart. YHWH is our God, and we are His children. We are in Jesus--the Truth--and our faith is evidenced by whether or not these truths are real in our lives.
